Parents and Apprenticeships

A recent survey conducted by AllAboutResearch.co.uk and AllAboutSchoolLeavers.co.uk has revealed that 11.3% of parents believe that their children are “too clever for an apprenticeship or school leaver programme”.

This attitude to apprenticeships increases the risk of young people missing out on great apprenticeship opportunities because their parents are potentially not aware on the benefits of the apprenticeship scheme.

If more parents understood the apprenticeship scheme, how it has progressed since their own teenage years and the opportunities that it has opened for so many young people, this figure could be significantly reduced.

If you are a parent/carer in Kent or Sussex looking to find out more about the apprenticeship scheme and how it can benefit your child here is all the information or call 01732 402402.
