Ignite

Ignite is a project specifically designed to help South London residents aged between 16 and 24 who are not in education, employment or training.

*This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The Ignite project offers young people coaching, mentoring and employability support young people to achieve their potential. Each participant receives a needs assessment and action plan to ensure they are supported to meet their goals and progress into education, training or employment. Our dedicated team provide one to one support tailored to the needs of the individual. Our delivery across South London is supported by our partners: Pathway CTM, Levels Learning, P4YE and The Harlequins Foundation.

Pathway CTM

Pathway CTM is an award-winning social enterprise, with the aim to provide Careers Training & Mentoring for young people across the UK. We help young people into employment through career events, 1-2-1 mentoring, and quality resourcesWorking with some of the top apprenticeship employers, along with our industry leading student support team, we are able to offer free 1-2-1 advice and mentoring.

The Harlequins Foundation

The Harlequins Foundation is the embodiment of the Club’s belief to put our communities at the heart of everything we do. Our focus is on inspirational, sustainable and transformative solutions that tackle inequality, poor health and the challenges facing the most vulnerable in society using education and skills development.

As part of the Ignite programme, we will provide opportunities for young people across South London to develop the Essential Skills and enter into meaningful employment or education.

P4YE

Project 4 Youth Empowerment (P4YE) is a South London-based organisation who supports young people and families, trying to lead them to bright futures. Our ethos is, ‘Engage & Empower’, and we use our skill sets and experience to speak to our young people in a way that they find relatable.

We have built many positive relationships with professional services to bridge the gap between them and the communities that we serve. We provide 1:1 and Group Mentoring, Advocacy, Parental Support, Training & Education and Employment support as well as a range of services to help to try and foster a better tomorrow for our community.

Levels Learning

At Levels Learning, we blend educational expertise with entrepreneurial dynamism to craft a curriculum that equips you with wisdom, not just knowledge. Our vision is to chart the most enriching route for your educational and professional milestones, inspiring and guiding you with our pivotal compasses of HOPE, UNDERSTANDING, and OPPORTUNITY.

In addition to our educational programmes, bootcamps, and virtual sessions, Levels Learning is actively involved in the Ignite programme for 16-24-year-olds in South London, providing up to a 12-week programme of mentorship and guidance. Our comprehensive support encompasses mental health (anxiety/emotional well-being), mentorship and guidance aimed at developing self-belief and reframing negative self-perceptions, incorporating the “Power of Yet” into the mindset of learners promoting a growth mindset and resilience, exposure to employers and work environments for real-world experience, and the development of 21st-century workplace skills and employability skills. Through these initiatives, we aim to empower individuals to thrive in both their personal and professional lives.
