Oliver Trailor,

The purpose of this role is to take responsibility for Runway Training’s apprenticeship provision and other work-based provisions (e.g. Free Courses for Jobs &full cost recovery programmes), through the implementation of robust monitoring processes to track progress towards a series of Key Performance Indicators.

You will work closely with Heads of department, Administration, Quality and Compliance teams, taking responsibility for the daily oversight of any personnel involved, as well as implementing any necessary changes to the direction of the contract(s).

You will also be responsible for ensuring that those who are involved with the delivery of the allocated contract(s), are delivering to a high standard, meeting compliance requirements and delivering in a timely manner, whilst also ensuring that they are given opportunities to reflect and make progress towards their own personal development journeys.

Delivery Manager – Apprenticeships,

Ability to create Schemes of Work and deliver engaging lessons to learners 19 + at a range of levels in Functional Skills or vocational subjects, with the aim to enable their learners to reach the required standards to achieve a qualification between Entry 1 and Level 3. Keeps an accurate record of attendance, performance and progress being made on each individual learner, ensuring that reviews take place and identify areas for improvement which assist progress towards completion of all aspects of the course. To create an inspiring environment for students to learn and support individuals with any problems they have as a first point of contact.

Over 14 years experience working in Education and Employment & Training. This has ranged from Secondary Schools, Further Education, Higher Education, National Careers Service and the last 4 years have been in Employment and Training. Aside from this, my career also includes Business and Operations Management. A wealth of Senior Management experience with over 13 years in the world of Leisure, Fitness, Facilities and Sales Management. Outside of work, a keen sportsman, family and charity man. Successfully completed the London Marathon on 3 occasions (2011, 2012, 2015) and in doing so raised much needed funds for many charities. I have 3 daughters (which includes Twins) and Ronnie the Labrador!

I am the BDM at Runway training and have been in sales for the last 20 years. I My background is in B2C sales and B2B having worked in the charity sector fundraising. I live in Kent with my husband and two beautiful dogs although I accept, I am biased! When I am not working, I love nothing more than spending time with the family and walking with the dogs on the beach.

We’re incredibly excited to be fundraising for Spadework this year.
