The Delivery Manager for Study Programme provision will be responsible for the smooth running of

16-19 programmes across Kent and the wider South east. This provision is vital in supporting young people to develop the skills to be successful in work and life, and there will be a key focus on securing positive outcomes.

This role will ensure that teaching, learning and support and are high quality and meet the needs to our learners.The post holder will ensure frequent and effective communication between partners and staff members located in remote offices by developing and implementing procedures around this.  The Delivery Manager will line manage support staff, including teachers and learning support assistants and be expected to ensure that staff undertake regular CPD activities.  Developing, monitoring, and evaluating the services will be a big part of this role. You will be responsible for shaping service delivery, building strong relationships with partners and maintaining Runway Training’s strong reputation.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the Study Programme provision
  • To be the point of contact for all project partners and take the lead on stakeholder management
  • Providing information and support to staff both within Runway Training and in external organisations, where relevant and necessary e.g., risk assessment and support plans.
  • Being the first point of contact for Runway staff with queries regarding how to most effectively engage and support learners and employers
  • Ensuring that all policies and procedures are implemented effectively and efficiently
  • Regularly having a presence in each location where project staff are based
  • Conducting regular meetings with delivery staff and support staff as appropriate
  • Ensuring learners receive a consistent service with personalised learning & support plans and are supported through periods of transition
  • Coordinating the delivery of the service
  • Line managing delivery staff
  • Proactively contributing to team and organisational meetings and events
  • Assisting in the recruitment, selection and induction of new staff as required
  • Designing and delivering internal training, if required, to meet the needs of the team and the wider company
  • Attending relevant meetings and feeding back to the team
  • Assisting with managing budgets and authorise financial transactions to agreed limits
  • Being responsible for promoting, implementing, monitoring and reviewing quality standards
  • Continuously reviewing systems, processes and procedures and implement improvements efficiently and effectively
  • Monitoring the recording of information and prepare reports where required, e.g. monthly reports, quarterly reports etc.

  • Being responsible for own professional development
  • Being involved in broader workings of the organisation (e.g. through involvement in working groups)
