We’re looking for grafters and self-starters to join the gang, who can keep up with the pace and want to make a difference. We still work in relatively small teams, so there’s no room for coasting along. We’re friendly, happy, and most importantly, we work hard. Questions you will help answer

  • How can we recruit the best talent into Secret Escapes?
  • How do we give our candidates an awesome experience?
  • How do we give different areas of the business, from Sales to Finance the best recruitment advice and support?
  • Which is better, Sorrento or Santorini? (the discount on our holidays should help you with this one)

Things you’ll be working on

  • Assist the recruitment team to administer the recruitment process, such as post roles, schedule meeting rooms and book interviews
  • Create a Talent network via LinkedIn, social networks etc and actively seek out the best talent to support the growth here at Secret Escapes
  • Support the team in monitoring and keeping all our career pages and social media pages up to date, generating new content and keeping our regular slots such as our blog pages fresh and interesting
  • Helping to maintain spreadsheets, trackers and help us pull data
  • Attend attraction events (virtual and hopefully in person) to find new talent and increase our brand awareness
  • Support on wider recruitment projects from improving processes, enhancing our employer brand, refining metrics to Diversity and Inclusion

We’re a team of international HR peeps, working from London to Berlin to Warsaw. We work hard, understand our stakeholders and love providing a great candidate experience (we won silver at the in house recruitment awards and are aiming for gold next time)!

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly
  • Self-starter with the ability to solve problems and think creatively
  • Ability to establish and build effective working relationships across the business at all levels
  • Good general IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • A great multi tasker, (jugglers welcome), you will be supporting across the recruitment team bringing together, candidates, hiring managers and different time zones so this is a must
  • An interest or experience creating social media content would be great to see!
  • Most importantly, someone who can balance their apprenticeship demands with the job

Things you should know

If you aren’t up to date with Game of Thrones and Line of Duty, there may be spoilers! We’re obsessed with both and talk about them…a lot. You may also put on a couple of pounds (woops!) when joining our team. We have a ‘snack desk’, dedicated to things we shouldn’t really be snacking on…Lola’s cup-cakes, chocolate, bread and Carr’s cheese melts, although there has been a trend towards brownies from Leather Lane recently. You’ve been warned!

The post holder will be working as an administrator working within our Care Coordination Centre (CCC) whilst completing their apprenticeship.
