Runway Training was established in 2008 as a provider specialising in adult literacy and numeracy. Today we offer a wide range of courses and deliver across the South East. To date, we have helped in excess of 25,000 learners achieve nationally-recognised qualifications, enabling them to develop the skills they require to achieve their goals.
The Project Support Officer will be responsible in assisting with the smooth running of a new European Social Fund (ESF) skills support funded project. The project will focus on upskilling SME employees across the Coast to Capital region with digital skills. This project is designed to enhance equal access to lifelong learning, to address the basic needs of employed people, particularly in SMEs and micro businesses. To increase the skills levels of employed people from the existing level to the next level up, to encourage progression in employment.
This role will involve assisting the project team to ensure that training solutions and support are compliant with the aims of the service. The post holder will ensure frequent and effective communication between partners and staff members located in remote offices by developing and implementing procedures around this. Along with the Project Manager you will form a project team with a full-time Digital Skills Tutor and a part-time Digital Skills Tutor. Sound administration skills and a good working knowledge of the project funding requirements will be a big part of this role. You will contribute towards shaping service delivery, building strong relationships with partners and maintaining Runway Training’s strong reputation.
