Runway Training is a fast-growing independent training provider, established in 2008 specialising in adult literacy and numeracy. Today we offer a wide range of courses in multiple sectors across the South East and expanding further afield. To date, we have helped in excess of 25,000 learners achieve nationally-recognised qualifications, enabling them to develop the skills they require to achieve their goals and improve their lives.

The Junior Account Manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in the successful delivery and implementation of Functional Skills programmes to a number of large employers and Universities. You would be expected to work closely with these clients to maintain the strong relationship and reputation that Runway Training hold.

This is a predominately office-based role. You will assist in regular meetings with clients and will have the opportunity to travel across different Runway sites. We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual who is keen to work as part of a team and has extremely good attention to detail.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate database records
  • Assisting with the management of the learning process and hosting regular meetings with tutors
  • Take part in regular meetings with lead clients to discuss progress
  • Monthly reporting of data to lead clients in relation to government funding
  • Assisting in the preparation of Ofsted visits
  • To ensure that students learning needs are met through a wide range of support.
  • Assisting in Business development
  • General administration for the Project Managers
  • Any other reasonable office-based tasks

Skills & Abilities

Essential

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills (written and verbal)
  • An ability to organise your own workload including the capacity to handle pressure and to be adaptable to changing or conflicting demands
  • An ability to understand, implement and construct professional boundaries
  • An ability to initiate and maintain constructive relations with clients, colleagues and other professionals from a wide variety of cultural and social backgrounds
  • Excellent English and maths skills.
  • Excellent IT skills (i.e. email, Word, Excel etc.)

Qualifications

Essential

Level 3 qualification or equivalent (A-Levels, etc.)

Desirable

Level 6 Qualification or equivalent (BA Hns, BSc, etc.)

Salary

£18,500-£21,000 per annum

Working week

Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00
