Digital Marketing Apprenticeship – Tunbridge Wells

We are looking to take on an apprentice who will be supporting the account managers and directors to deliver award winning campaigns across all elements of marketing. From SEO, to SEM and social media, paid and organic

Vacancy description

Reporting

·         Listing audits and updates/channel management – (when booked in with clients for audits, updating adhoc with new offers/news for clients e.g. PR or DDR offers) – adhoc

·         Updating digital stats – checked by Mel before sending to clients for any irregularities and cause for concern/celebration – Monthly/Bi-monthly (as the clients receive reports now)

·         Pull social media reports from SEMrush – save in client folder, Hannah and I receive weekly social media overview reports to track how our channels are doing as we go along. – Monthly

Copywriting

·         Planning/writing social media posts

·         Schedule posts

·         Copywriting for blog articles and press releases.

Website

·         Uploading blogs to websites

·         Implementing client web updates for clients

·         Support the wed developer with web tasks

Email Marketing

·          Mail chimp – use template to drop in content and schedule to send

Research

·         Look at people per hour and tendering websites

·         Monitoring media news – events, client info – what’s happening in the industry

Media Buying

·         Chasing clients for deadlines

·         Up to date specs from publishers – ensure all specs are up to date and saved in the same place

SEO

·         Preparing blogs for submission to clients

SEM and social advertising

·         Negative keywording

·         Research and set up social advertising campaigns

Design

·         Depending on ability support the team with design for social posts and other assets.

Admin and process

·         Answering phone

·         Patch calendar – national days/upcoming awards/events/ –

·         Take meeting notes and save in relevant folder

·         Creating client branded word docs – to be saved in client folders

·         Clippings (from scheduled digital activity) – to be saved in relevant client Folders

·         Invoice check – compile list of those missing

·         Working alongside the team to ensure processes are up to date

Things to consider

Agency life is full on – we have lots of clients that want things at the drop of a hat. It’s not for everyone but it’s good fun and our culture is a very nurturing and supportive. Equally you’ll be expected to show proactivity in finding solutions and answers to problems.

We internally refer to any training from one of our Marketing Directors, Matt Beech, as the Beech Academy. When anyone leaves they seem to be years ahead of people with the same experience thanks to ‘The Beech Academy.’

On-site training run by the employer

Salary:

£187.50 per week

Working week:

9:00 to 17:30 with an hour for lunch
