Full description of vacancy

This is an office-based role, providing day-to-day support to the apprenticeships department. We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual who is keen to work as part of a team and has extremely good attention to detail.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Answering the telephone
  • Using emails
  • Processing enrolment paperwork
  • General administration for the Quality Manager
  • Updating the database
  • Processing and posting learner certificates
  • Recruitment of candidates into our Apprenticeship vacancies
  • Sorting post
  • Filing
  • Scanning
  • Managing the apprenticeship review process
  • Making teas and coffees for visitors
  • Attending careers fairs/exhibitions with a Manger representing the company
  • Any other reasonable office based tasks

Business Admin apprenticeship (including Diploma, maths, English and ICT if not already held, employee rights and responsibilities)

Potentially 1st aid training and other courses as required

Required skills

Attention to detail, able to work on own initiative, good computer literacy, good phone manner

Required personal qualities

Reliable, friendly, motivated, punctual, smart

Required qualifications

A*- C English GCSE or equivalent preferable

Reality check

This is an office based role so will involve spending the majority of your time on the computer and telephone
