We’re looking for someone to provide effective and efficient financial support to the school working with other members of the trust finance team and assisting with additional administrative tasks when required.
•To process and input to the financial management system orders and invoices as required.
•To email/post/ order online all approved purchase orders to suppliers and chase up on orders not received within set timescales.
•To file delivery notes with orders and match up invoices to outstanding orders when received
•To undertake regular filing duties relating to invoices, orders and statements.
•To post out all cheque payments to suppliers ensuring payee name and address is correct.
•To scan all orders/invoices and attach them to the relevant transaction in the financial management system.
•To assist with the maintenance of the schools asset register.
•To reconcile supplier statements to invoices processed and chase up any missing invoices.
•To deal with finance queries by telephone, e mail and in person.
•To process the daily post received and distribute accordingly.
•To collect all finance forms / documentation from the main staff room on a daily basis.
•To support the finance team with processing transactions for the voluntary funds including counting up of cash, making payments to suppliers and taking in money from pupils as and when required.
•To cover reception duties as and when required.
•To input journals to the financial management system as required.
Training to be Provided:
•The post holder will be line managed by the FPTA Trust Financial Controller
•The post holder has no direct management responsibilities
•The post holder will be required to communicate regularly with school staff, pupils, suppliers and service providers and other external agencies.

The post holder will have no direct responsibilities for any financial resources, however they will be responsible for handling cash and cheques on a day to day basis.
The post will be based in the Financial Office located within the library building at the School but on occasion, the post holder may be required to work elsewhere within the school.
£136.90 per week
37 hours/ generally 8.30am-4.30pm Mon-Thursday and 8.30am-4pm Fridays ( all with a half hour lunch )
